How to compete:
The first step of the process is to submit your business idea. It’s unbelievably easy and can be done here or under the tab marked registration above.
By April 17th, the jury will have selected what they deem to be the top 5 ideas and all those competing will be notified of the outcome of their own idea (ie if you make the cut or not!).
Being selected implies that you now go on to the final phase of the competition, where you will be given the opportunity to pitch your business idea, for 5 or so minutes, in front of the jury on April 19th!
Assessment of Business Idea:
When deciding what product/ service you are going to pitch and how you are going to pitch it keep in mind that the Business Idea will be assessed primarily on how well executed your idea is. By this we mean that we are looking for a structured, thought-through and clear business idea. Innovativity is a given, but exceptionally extravagant ideas can be hard to keep concise and can be difficult to pitch in 5 minutes!
